Benefits SummaryRambus benefits are an important part of your total compensation and work experience. A full suite of health and wellness plans, retirement accumulation programs, voluntary benefits (with a generous company contribution), and bonus and incentive programs are offered. Medical: Blue Shield PPORambus offers medical benefits to all U.S. employees under the Blue Shield of California PPO plan. Go to any licensed provider that is deemed in-network for little to no out of pocket expenses. You can also go to a provider outside the network after the fulfillment of an annual deductible and co-payments. Rambus offers a program to cover not only basic care, but other services as well.The plan also offers prescription drug coverage with mail order benefits allowing you to save on your monthly prescriptions.
Dental: Delta DentalDelta Dental offers a comprehensive PPO plan to Rambus employees. There are low co-payments and a high plan maximum to ensure the dental needs of you and your family are covered. The plan includes orthodontia benefits for both adults and children.
Vision: Vision Service Plan (VSP)With vision care under the plan with VSP, Rambus employee enjoys annual exams and periodic lenses and frames.
EAP: Employee Assistance PlanRambus provides employees with a program to meet the needs of today’s working person. Family counseling and referral services, along with tools and resources are available.
Coverage and Cost of PlansRambus employees are eligible to enroll their dependent family members including their spouse, domestic partner, and children to the Rambus Inc. plans. Children are covered to age 22, and up to age 26 provided they are a full-time student.Rambus is proud to offer a competitive benefits package. We ask employees to share in the cost of the programs with a nominal payroll contribution.
Life and Accidental Death and DismembermentRambus offers a generous life insurance benefit to help provide for the financial well being of your survivors. Cover is 4 times base salary to $800,000, and can be increased to $1M. AD&D also provides a 4-times-base salary benefit, to $800,000 and can also be increased to $1M.
Disability InsuranceIncome replacement assistance is available to Rambus employees through short and long-term disability. Under the short-term plan, employees will receive income replacement to 100% for 12 weeks. Following short-term disability, long-term benefits will supplement a percentage of your income up to a monthly plan maximum. Flexible SpendingUnder the flexible spending programs, Rambus employees can set aside pre-tax dollars from their payroll towards qualified medical and/or dependent day care needs. This allows for tax savings allowing employees to get more out of their paycheck! The medical savings plan allows employees to set aside a significant annual maximum and with the convenience of a Visa debit card. The dependent day care program allows employees to set aside up to $5,000.Rambus 401(k) PlanPlanning for the future and retirement is an important part of your total benefits. With the Rambus 401(k) program, employees may contribute up to 60% of salary (to IRS plan limits). Rambus will match that contribution to plan limits – and all contributions are 100% vested immediately! The plan also offers those age 50 and over the option to make an additional, matched deferral. Furthermore, our platform with Fidelity Investments offers a wide variety of fund options and tools to ensure employees can invest in the manner to best meet their style and needs.Employee Stock Purchase PlanRambus employees can share in the ownership of the company through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employee’s payroll dollars can be used to purchase stock in the company at a discount to the fair market value.
