Entertainment Applications

Entertainment lighting used in theaters, television studios, or at concerts, includes spotlights, floodlights, gobos, and color washes. Spotlights require very high-intensity light sources with tight beam angle control. Color washes and mood lighting require dimming and precise color change controls. In addition, entertainment lighting must be lightweight, operate as quietly as possible, emit little heat, and be highly reliable. For these reasons, LED based fixtures are an ideal alternative to traditional lamp based fixtures for many entertainment lighting applications.
