Bell ID, a leading smart token management solution provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of leading industry expert Grant Evans as Advisory Director with immediate effect.
Grant will be responsible for strengthening and developing the company’s strategic alliances, as well as providing complementary support for the advancement of Bell ID’s identity token management solutions for governments, enterprises and institutions. Grant will also play a pivotal role in the company’s expansion into the Americas.
Grant joins Bell ID with 25 years’ experience as a Senior Executive, CEO and board member of various public and private organizations within the security and identity sector including: 3VR, A4 Vision, American Electronics Executive Advisory Committee, Bioscript, Comdex Advisory Board on Security, Congressman Honda’s Blue Ribbon Security Board for Home Land Security GridIron Systems and Transglobal Secure Collaboration Program (TSCP). Most recently Grant was Chairman and CEO of Actividentity, a NASDAQ listed security company.
Throughout his career Grant has driven companies into leading global market positions, initiated and driven technology standards and raised more than US$150 million in investment capital. He has also held numerous advisory roles in partnership with investment groups that have included Menlo Ventures, Pearl Street Ventures, Reserve Venture Group and Vector Capital.
