Join us at the Virtual Hardware Security Summit on September 15th! Neeraj Paliwal, will be giving a talk titled “Security by Design Approach for Semiconductors,” and Helena Handschuh, Fellow, will be on a panel titled “Ask the Hardware Security Experts your security questions.” Details below:
Title: “Security by Design Approach for Semiconductors”
Speaker: Neeraj Paliwal, VP and GM of Rambus Security
Time: 10:15-10:45am PDT
Abstract: Securing the semiconductor infrastructure involves three key parts: Securing the device, Securing the supply chain, and securing the in-field life of the device. Device security starts with the chip architecture anchored by a scalable hardware security enclave, also known as Root of Trust. Securing the supply chain starts with a unique and immutable identity provisioned at manufacturing. Securing the in-field life of the device builds upon the secure enclave and identity to manage the device lifecycle. During this presentation we will cover the high-level overview of these three parts as well as various use cases.
