Scholarships Recognize Passion for Science and Technology
LOS ALTOS, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES – 06/02/2010 – Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq:RMBS), one of the world’s premier technology licensing companies, today announced it has awarded its annual “Innovator of the Future” scholarships to Malvika Verma of St. Francis High School and Edward Gu of Los Altos High School. Rambus’ Innovator of the Future awards program, established in 2005, seeks to broaden the educational opportunities of students who, by virtue of their academic and extracurricular achievement, demonstrate a passion for science and technology that extends beyond the classroom.

“At Rambus, we are committed to the future of innovation and are proud to foster the next generation of innovators,” said Harold Hughes, president and chief executive officer at Rambus. “Both Malvika and Edward have a passion for science and technology and have the desire to positively impact society. We are pleased to help each of them continue with their studies.”
Eligibility for the Rambus Innovator of the Future scholarship awards extends to individuals attending a high school located in either Mountain View or Los Altos, California, and graduating before fall 2010 with plans to attend a four-year college or university program of study beginning in fall 2010.
