(Nasdaq:RMBS), one of the world’s premier technology licensing companies, today announced that Kevin Donnelly, senior vice president of IP Strategy, will serve as the IP Summit Chair for the DesignCon 2011 conference. The announcement was made during the Keynote Luncheon at DesignCon 2010.

Mr. Donnelly leads the development of Rambus’ IP business strategies. Prior to this position, he served as senior vice president of Engineering, where he led future technology development for Rambus’ memory and logic interface products. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State University. Mr. Donnelly holds numerous patents in high-speed clocking and I/O circuits.
