Rambus and GE to assist adults and children with disabilities

On Thursday, May 26, Rambus will participate in Global Community Day, an annual effort where thousands of volunteers join in community projects around the world. Rambus and GE volunteers will make substantial renovations at Camp Cheerful, a camp for children and adults with physical, developmental, medical and sensory disabilities. Rambus volunteers will focus their efforts on extending and improving the Sensory Trail which provides entertainment through different sensory experiences for children and adults with autism.
“Our teams at Rambus are enthusiastic about partnering with GE to help the kids at Camp Cheerful,” said Jeff Parker, president of the Lighting and Display Technology business at Rambus. “By working first-hand to build upon the camp’s existing infrastructure, we hope to bring an enjoyable experience to those who attend the camp programs and ride along these trails.”
