With its redundant RISC-V it securely and safely supports modern complex systems that are built to prepare the industry for autonomous driving applications. Besides Secure Boot, Debug, firmware updates, also life cycle management and secure ownership changes are critical. To keep the vehicle save, device identity, SoC identity and key exchanges must be managed securely, enabling MACsec authenticated connections with lidar, sensors and other peripherals in the system.
