Title: Developments and Challenges for Next Generation Terabit Non Volatile Memories
Speaker: Christophe Chevallier, Vice President, NVM / Storage Division, Rambus
In his keynote, Christophe will explore the leading contenders for next generation, Terabit density, non-volatile memories, with a focus on emerging technologies intended for mass storage.
BIOGRAPHY: Christophe Chevallier is Vice President of Product Development in the NVM/Storage division at Rambus. He was a co‐founder of Unity Semiconductor Corporation, recently acquired by Rambus. He joined Unity in 2002 to develop stacked cross-point arrays architectures and technologies. Christophe designed one of the world’s first low voltage NOR Flash products at non‐volatile memory pioneer Catalyst, Inc. and later was a founding technical member in the creation of Micron Technology’s Flash business. He is a holder of more than two hundred patents, and is considered an industry leading expert in non-volatile memory IP. He graduated with a BSEE from IMT/Universities of Aix‐Marseille, France, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
