Bell ID, the market leader in application and key management, today launched a mobile pilot offering that makes the NFC experience instantly available to any organization at low cost.
The pilot provides all components to implement an end-to-end solution, including an NFC phone, an on-the-phone wallet (midlet), an Over The Air (OTA) application loading capability and a back-office lifecycle management functionality.
The solution is interesting for banks, mobile network operators, transport operators, merchants and organizations that are interested in loading applications to NFC enabled mobile phones to enhance their business model and deliver added value to their customers.
Taking advantage of Bell ID’s offering means experiencing full end-to-end mobile subscriber processes and witnessing crucial lifecycle management in the back office infrastructure, all of which are required for later project roll out. Participating organizations will have the ability to take advantage of Bell ID services and offerings, including Mobile NFC consulting, setting up a customized ANDiS mobile pilot or implementing a full operational ANDiS4Mobile rollout system.
The Instant NFC Pilot includes all required hardware and software to run a pilot. The Instant NFC Pilot uses proven Bell ID ANDiS technology, which has been developed over the last 15 years and is based on GlobalPlatform specifications. The back office lifecycle management system will be made available via the Web.
Oliver Burke, General Manager at Bell ID, commented: “This instant mobile pilot solution is Bell ID’s contribution to help the Mobile NFC Market to develop and mature. We hope that making the NFC experience affordable without the need to commit significant IT procurement resources will bring mobile NFC technology into the hands of many organizations and therefore significantly reduce the entrance barriers for the adoption of Mobile NFC technology.”
Participating organizations will have the option to take advantage of Bell ID services and offerings, including NFC consulting, setting up a customized mobile pilot or implementing a full operational rollout system.
