We are delighted to announce today that our trusted service manager (TSM) solution has been selected by TrustNorway to facilitate the delivery of mobile services to its customers. Utilizing Bell ID’s TSM solution, TrustNorway will become the Nordic region’s first neutral TSM with the ability to independently manage near field communication (NFC) ecosystems.

Our TSM solution enables TrustNorway to establish itself as a TSM; a neutral entity that coordinates the technical and business relationships of multiple stakeholders – mobile network operators (MNOs) and service providers such as banks, ticketing agencies and other issuing authorities – to deliver and maintain services on mobile devices. This includes the provisioning of applications such as payment, loyalty and transport to end-users.

It is without doubt that 2012 has seen the industry wake-up to mobile and the essential role it will play long-term in delivering convenient and innovative services to consumers. Growing industry awareness means companies are starting to make investments, which has led to increased demand for third party entities such as TrustNorway.
