Next week, against a backdrop of EMV migration activity in the U.S., the smart card and mobile industry descends on Las Vegas for the annual CARTES North America conference. The Bell ID team is in attendance, located at booth #413, and available to discuss technologies that support EMV migration and near field communication (NFC) deployments.
As the aggressive EMV migration deadlines set by the payment systems get ever-closer, the show is a perfect opportunity for financial institutions and players within the payments community to learn about solutions that can smooth the EMV migration process and future-proof the investment to accommodate advancing business and technical requirements, such as NFC.
We proved our capabilities within this sector recently when we announced that BlackBerry (Research in Motion) is using Bell ID Trusted Service Manager in its secure element manager (SEM) solution for NFC mobile payments. Our team will be more than happy to demonstrate how our software enables industry players, such as BlackBerry, banks and service providers to become a trusted service manager (TSM) in order to securely provision, store and update credentials and applications on NFC capable devices.
On the booth we will be demonstrating the mobile TSM solution utilized by BlackBerry, showing delegates over-the-air (OTA) provisioning of mobile payments and testing the implementation in a point-of-sale (POS) environment.
Bell ID’s EMV expert David Worthington, Principle Consultant for Payment and Chip Technology, will also be in attendance to answer any questions that you may have on the US’ migration to chip payment cards. He will be delivering a presentation that will share with delegates some of our real-world experiences of deploying and managing migration solutions in the Canadian and European markets. The presentation is on EMV and Mobile in the US – The Two Halves of a New Smart Infrastructure in the EMV Implementation and Financial Services Track on Tuesday 23 April at 12:00.
If you would like to arrange a meeting in advance, please contact Todd Freyman. Otherwise, please feel free to come by the booth to meet the team.
Enjoy the show!
