Micron Selects Rambus CryptoManager Platform for Secure Provisioning to Authenta Technology

Industry-leading Rambus solution enables secure personalization and provisioning of cryptographic information for industrial, consumer and automotive markets

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – December 3, 2018 – Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ: RMBS) today announced that Micron Technology, Inc., (NASDAQ: MU) has selected the Rambus CryptoManager™ Platform for Micron’s Authenta™ secure memory product line to enable a new level of protection for the Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The Rambus CryptoManager Infrastructure and Key Management Service (KMS) for Authenta technology will enable Micron to securely provision cryptographic information at any point in the extended manufacturing supply chain and throughout the IoT device lifecycle, enhancing platform protection while enabling new silicon-to-cloud services. The integrated solution will be essential to providing a foundation of trust for many market verticals, including the Industrial IoT (IIoT), smart cities, medical, automotive and connected homes.

Cybertrust Japan Selects CryptoManager IoT Security Service from Rambus

Security as a service provides enhanced protection for new IoT platform

SUNNYVALE, California and TOKYO, Japan – Nov. 21, 2017 – Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ: RMBS) today announced that Cybertrust Japan Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of SoftBank Technology Corp. (JPX First Section: 4726), has selected the Rambus CryptoManager IoT Security Service for their Cybertrust Secure IoT Platform®, a comprehensive IoT platform-as-a-service.  As a leading provider of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, Cybertrust will combine the services to provide an easy-to-use, multi-platform solution that covers all aspects of secure IoT device connectivity and lifecycle management.

Rambus and Synopsys Collaborate to Deliver Provisioning Services for Hardware Secure Modules

Solution enables secure, remote lifecycle management for automotive, IoT and mobile applications

(NASDAQ: SNPS) today announced a new collaboration to accelerate the adoption of advanced security platforms and technologies to protect valuable assets during key and device provisioning. As part of this collaboration, Rambus will provide its CryptoManager infrastructure and key provisioning services to support Synopsys DesignWare® tRoot™ Hardware Secure Modules (HSMs) with Root of Trust, enabling secure remote lifecycle management of connected devices.

Rambus and Cybertrust Partner to Secure Connected Devices

Cybertrust selects Rambus CryptoManager™ Infrastructure for secure device management and software updates  

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – May 18, 2017 – Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) today announced a partnership with Cybertrust Japan Co., Ltd. (Cybertrust), a leading provider of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions and a subsidiary of SoftBank Technology Corp.(JPX First Section: 4726), to deliver secure key provisioning and security services for connected devices spanning from enterprise multi-function printers to connected cars.

This collaboration combines the Rambus CryptoManager Infrastructure, a secure provisioning and key management system, and the Cybertrust PKI solution, to secure communication from device-to-cloud and for over-the-air (OTA) software updates. In-field IoT security service built for leading cloud platforms enables easy and broad adoption

Rambus to Demonstrate IoT Security Technology in Qualcomm Booth at CES

Demonstration showcases ability to minimize DDoS attacks through secure connectivity, monitoring and provisioning of IoT endpoints

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – January 3, 2017 – Rambus (NASDAQ:RMBS) today announced it will showcase its IoT security service and technology designed to deliver secure communication and lifecycle management. This demonstration utilizes the Rambus CryptoManager security platform and highlights how IoT devices can be secured to significantly reduce service vulnerability to Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.

This demonstration, highlighting a smart city application, features the Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 820 processor and QCA4010 Wi-Fi chip, that are connected to an IoT cloud service using a protected link. The Rambus technology enables seamless security-focused features which includes mutual authentication and encrypted communication. These unique security features protect IoT devices from being used by hackers in malicious botnets, and prevent the IoT cloud service from being attacked by cloned devices.
