Rambus Ecebs Remote Ticket Download (RTD) allows tickets to be loaded over a connected device in real time; these devices include NFC-enabled mobile phones. The tickets can be stored on a smart card or can be stored inside the mobile phone, making smart ticketing truly mobile. A variety of mobile apps are available that can be used to read a smart card, inspect the contents, and purchase and download new tickets.
